Philosopher and lover of Great Books
Jared Hanson-Park is a philosopher with a specialization in the philosophy of science and 20th century analytic philosophy. He has a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Miami, an MA in Philosophy from Western Michigan University, and a BA in Humanities from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has also previously taught at Texas A&M University.
Jared's PhD dissertation and primary academic work are focused on the history and philosophy of science, defending an optimistic but reserved view about scientific knowledge. In addition to this published work, Jared has a broad interest and background in philosophy and the history of ideas, having taught courses in philosophy of language, philosophy of mind, theory of knowledge, 20th century analytic philosophy, ethics, metaphysics, history and philosophy of science, philosophy of law, ancient philosophy, and logic.
