Sunshine Moot 2026 Registration

Signum University invites you to join us on Saturday, 7 March for Sunshine Moot 2026. This hybrid event will take place at the Drury Inn & Suites - Universal Orlando Resort in Orlando, FL, USA. For our return to the Sunshine State, we invite you to join us for an unique workshop, "The Long Undoing: On the Transmission of Oral History".

What happens when history becomes legend? Legend becomes myth? And some things that should not have been forgotten become lost? How do stories change as they are passed from one person to the next, from one generation to the next? This year's Sunshine Moot invites you to participate in a unique and immersive experiment in the preservation of memory. We will explore the very methods by which the peoples of Middle-earth, from the Elves of Tirion to the Dwarves of Khazad-dûm, would have kept their histories alive before Cirth and Tengwar.
