Reader, writer, resesarcher

Amy Troolin is a writer, reader, historian, theologian, musician, genealogist, teacher, and lover of all things Tolkien, Old English, and American Civil War history. She is also a life-long learner who holds an M.A. in Language & Literature from Signum University, an M.A. in Theology and Christian Ministry from Franciscan University of Steubenville, and a double M.A. in History and English from St. Cloud State University. Her latest academic endeavor is a Master of Sacred Scripture degree through Holy Apostles College & Seminary as the first tier of coursework toward a PhD in Theology. Maybe, just maybe, she will stop taking formal classes when she gets her doctorate. Maybe...

Amy currently has five books in print and is slowly working on a sixth. She blogs at The Catholic Scholar (https://thecatholicscholar.blogspot.com/), and her Signum thesis, "The Ancient Germanic Lord's Prayer," is available online at https://germaniclordsprayer.wordpress.com/.

As the Director of Signum Press, Amy often says that she gets to read all the best stuff first, and she is thrilled to be able to help Signum's Creators connect with their readers through the Collaboratory and in publication. Amy holds several other roles at Signum as well.
