Passionate about Art History, Fairy tales and the Japanese language

Pilar loves languages and literature. She's interested in fairy tales, especially Andersen's, Wilde's, and Japanese traditional tales. She's also passionate about Art History, the Japanese language and culture.

Pilar has a Certificate of Higher Education in English literature from the University of Oxford, an MA in Literary Linguistics from the University of Nottingham, and an MA in Children’s Literature from the University of Roehampton. Pilar also loves Art History, particularly the art from the Dutch Golden Age. Pilar is also a certified Life Coach.

She has worked as an author of ESL textbooks and as an English, Japanese, and Spanish language tutor. She is from Colombia but is now living in Panama with her husband and a little shih tzu called Coco.
