Passionate about fantasy and myth. Academically focused on Tolkien, fantasy, and adaptation. Interes
Hayden has had a lifelong interest in reading and creative writing. He is a writer, teacher, tutor, GM ('game master' in tabletop games), artist, and gamer. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Literature and his dissertation focuses on Tolkien and adaptation.
Hayden received his BA in English with minors in Creative Writing and Film Studies from the University of Central Oklahoma. He continued his education at UCO and earned his MA in Creative Writing where his thesis was a fantasy novel. He currently attends OSU where he has achieved All but Dissertation (ABD) status on his literature PhD.
Since 2011 Hayden has worked as an educator, first as a writing tutor (2011-2017) and then as an English Instructor (2017-).
