Champion of hope, leadership, and growth through story

Henry Wilson is an educator, facilitator, and leadership development professional whose work explores the intersection of storytelling, leadership, and human growth. He brings a multidisciplinary background in applied economics, education innovation, and leadership development.

Henry currently serves as a Youth Coaching Manager with TEAMTRI, where he leads leadership development strategy and supports coaches working with student leaders across the United States. His work includes designing and delivering leadership workshops, immersive trainings, and experiences that emphasize personal growth, communication, teamwork, and adaptive leadership. Previously, Henry was the Associate Director of the RISE Lab at National University, where he led institution-wide initiatives focused on skills-based education, faculty development, and educational innovation. Earlier in his career, he worked as an economist with Lightcast Data and Mercaris, translating complex data into accessible insights for higher education and industry audiences.

Henry has a B.S. in agricultural economics and an M.S. in Applied Economics from the University of Idaho and is a lifelong learner. As a lifelong reader of J.R.R. Tolkien, Henry’s life has been shaped by Tolkien’s works. He is drawn to the ways Tolkien examines stewardship, hope, and the quiet courage of ordinary individuals.

Henry lives in Boise, Idaho, with his partner MaKenna and their three cats. Outside of work, he enjoys movies, time in nature, and baseball, and believes that good stories—whether in books, films, or lived experience—remain one of our most powerful tools for understanding ourselves and one another.
